This thrilling performance, brought together by UniCredit and the Filarmonica della Scala, was attended by 2,000 people, with nearly 5,000 others from around the world watching via live stream.
Five street musicians, selected in an online campaign on the website www.musicstreets.unicredit.it, played together with five artists from the Filarmonica della Scala orchestra in this unique concert conducted by the leading Italian DJ, Linus.
Music Streets kicked off celebrations for UniCredit's 15th anniversary and is part of a new initiative that uses social networks to promote our Group's innovative style of banking and enhance its proximity to the people it serves.
This joint project was created by thanks to the partnership between UniCredit and the Filarmonica della Scala, which began in 2000. Their work together is based on shared values and common goals: the pursuit of international excellence, a desire to unite people through the common language of music, and a commitment to making culture accessible to a broader public. By bringing together vastly different musical instruments and styles for one compelling show, Music Streets demonstrated once again that this partnership is a resounding success.
