UniCredit and Filarmonica della Scala together again for the 2025 season in Italy and abroad

The 2025 Concerts Season, the forty-third, opens on Monday, 27 January and until November will see on the stage great names in music, conductors and soloists of every generation, within a program that as always presents great novelties and masterpieces.

The first to take the podium will be the principal conductor Riccardo Chailly, with Gustav Mahler's Seventh Symphony.

Also, in 2025, the stage will join the great conductors Gianandrea Noseda (17 February), Daniele Gatti (24 March), Conductor Emeritus Myung-Whun Chung (12 October) and Austrian conductor Manfred Honeck (3 November), who has been missing from the Philharmonic podium since 2018.

Among the Filarmonica della Scala's new conductors there is Lahav Shani (14 April), and for the first time Barbara Hannigan (26 October) joins La Scala in the dual role of singer and conductor - as well as performer.

Also making his debut is Kazuki Yamada (26 May), the Japanese conductor who grew up under the wing of Seiji Ozawa, while Philippe Herreweghe (10 March) will lead the award-winning baroque ensemble Collegium Vocale Gent.

UniCredit continues to support Filarmonica della Scala in a series of projects and activities aimed at improving the quality of life in the communities in which the Group operates.

The 2025 Season will include charitable and educational initiatives, including "Prove Aperte", which allow the public to attend the dress rehearsals of concerts, while contributing to philanthropic causes, and "Sound, Music!", which will continue to spread the passion for music among young people, bringing them closer to the art of music and stimulating their creativity and talent.

UniCredit also invests in the training of young musicians through scholarships, offering them the opportunity to develop their skills and keep Italian musical excellence alive. New is the "UniCredit Award", an additional financial recognition worth €1,000 that UniCredit will pay to the youngest musician admitted to the final test scheduled for 4 December 2024.

Finally, the Filarmonica della Scala will continue to enchant the public with the traditional "Concerto per Milano", taking place on 5 June in Piazza Duomo.
