Siobhán McDonagh

Head of Group People & Culture

Siobhán started her career in 1989 at Marks and Spencer PLC, where she held numerous roles over an eleven-year period as Human Resources Manager in various stores nationwide and in Ireland. In 2000, she moved to the global law firm Linklaters LLP as Human Resources Manager for the Corporate Division.  

In 2005, Siobhán expanded her experience into the financial sector with Merrill Lynch, and subsequently Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where she was the Global Head of Human Resources for Corporate Banking and EMEA Investment Banking and Global Head of Human Resources for the Investment Banking Division.  

In 2011, she moved to Credit Suisse as Global Head of Human Resources for Finance, Operations and IT and Head of EMEA Human Resources.  

In 2014, she became Global Head of Investment Bank Human Resources at UBS, moving in 2016 as Head of Human Resources UK and Global Head of Investment Bank, where she was responsible for leading global human resources strategies, including the engagement of all employees to make a difference in local communities. 

Siobhán was also a Trustee for the UBS Optimus Foundation and a Governor of The Bridge Academy. 

In May 2022, Siobhán is appointed Head of Group People & Culture at UniCredit.
