On December 13th and 14th, 2024 our UniCredit people came together once again to bring smiles on many children’s faces during the annual Kids4Kids and Donation Day, the Group-wide initiatives designed to spread the holiday spirit and continue supporting the communities we serve

It was not only an opportunity for colleagues to gather and share joyful moments with their families, but also a testament to our commitment to building a better future. Thanks to our partnership with local NGOs dedicated to child welfare, we were able to distribute over 3,200 gifts, generously donated by the 4,000 participants who joined the events in various locations.

Across our regions, UniCredit demonstrated its engagement through a series of meaningful actions. In Italy, we continued supporting donation-based efforts such as ilMioDono, which assists Third Sector organisations in social activities, and Carta Etica, which allocates funds to non-profits addressing community needs, promoting territorial development, and empowering vulnerable groups. Our Austrian branch hosted a week-long programme in partnership with Samariterbund, aimed at benefiting young people and collecting presents. In Vienna, we organised a visit to an exhibition at Kunstforum and an artistic workshop, encouraging inspiration and self-expression. In Bosnia and Herzegovina, the occasion was celebrated with donations of care packages, followed by a festive gathering featuring a Christmas tree decoration workshop, face painting, and entertainment. Each young attendee received a special surprise: a book thoughtfully chosen to suit their age. The event concluded with a live connection to Milan, further reinforcing our sense of unity.

In Croatia, UniCredit assisted the Mali Zmaj Association with a gift drive, delivering toys and essential items to those in need. Additionally, Santa Claus brought joy to Zagrebačka banka’s campus in his magical truck, where children enjoyed a performance featuring singing and dancing. The tour travelled across multiple cities, spreading happiness far and wide. Germany presented a variety of activities, from enchanting storytelling and whimsical balloon art to fun games. Delicious treats and chocolates were offered at market stalls, ensuring everyone stayed refreshed and uplifted.

Romania celebrated with a fun-filled day of experiences, including VR adventures, temporary tattoos, and chocolate crafting sessions. A dazzling show and the energetic Stepmania game kept spirits high, while Santa’s Sock painting added a festive touch. In Hungary, we brought people together with arts and crafts, face painting, glitter tattoos, Christmas tree decorations, and a special buffet. Slovenia delighted attendees with a performance by actor Boštjan Gorenc – Pižama. Creative projects, including card-making and sketching, sparked imagination, while the Digital Labyrinth offered a fun and engaging challenge. The event also supported children receiving care in hospital through a donation of supplies.

In Serbia, the holidays were honoured with a captivating New Year’s play, designed to entertain and inspire the audience. Families had the chance to create treasured memories with photos, making the moment especially magical for young ones. Bulgaria embraced the spirit of the season as visitors were greeted by Santa’s elves and reindeer. A pizza feast, lively dancing, and exciting games set the tone for a joyous atmosphere, while hands-on workshops allowed participants to craft Christmas cards, magnets, and other keepsakes.

Finally, in Slovakia and the Czech Republic, efforts focused on donations and financial literacy activities in collaboration with local NGOs, further highlighting our focus on fostering change.

A heartfelt THANK YOU for playing your part in uniting hearts and in helping us make a difference for the second year in a row.
