UNICREDIT CEO SPEAKS TO CLASS CNBC ON FUTURE OF ITALIAN ECONOMY

Jean Pierre Mustier was one of 100 business leaders and entrepreneurs who contributed to a special broadcast on how to restart Italy’s economy after the pandemic
In a broadcast on Class CNBC on 7th May, Jean Pierre Mustier praised Italy and highlighted the importance of long-term investments in education, healthcare and housing. He also proposed immediate areas to focus on: boosting retail consumption, protecting SMEs and encouraging new employment.
“Whatever we do, we need to be loud and clear in giving the message that ‘Italy is open.’” said Jean Pierre. “At UniCredit, we look forward to doing our part for #RIPARTITALIA.”
Other contributors included Romano Prodi, former President of the European Commission, Angel Gurria, Secretary General of OECD, and Aldo Bisio, CEO of Vodafone Italia.
