UniCredit Named Global Bank of the Year 2024 and Bank of the Year in Croatia and Bosnia Herzegovina
UniCredit has been awarded the prestigious title of Global Bank of the Year 2024 by FT's The Banker, marking its second consecutive year of this honor. In addition it has been recognised as Bank of the Year in Croatia and Bosnia Herzegovina.

UniCredit has been recognized Best Bank and Best Investment Bank and Best Bank for Sustainability in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) by EMEA Finance, further solidifying its position as a leader in the region. In addition, at the Euromoney Private Banking Awards 2024, UniCredit has been named CEE's Best International Private Bank, CEE's Best for High-Net-Worth and Best International Private Bank.

The award was granted for the significant progress UniCredit has made in the field of gender equity and inclusion. UniCredit further recognized in nine categories at the Euromoney Awards for Excellence 2023, including Best Best Bank for Digital Solutions and for Corporates in Bulgaria, Best Bank for Corporate and for SMEs in Croatia. Earlier this year the bank has been already recognized Best Bank in Bulgaria and in Croatia, as well as Best Bank in the CEE region, in Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and in Italy.

Best Sub-Custodian Bank in CEE by Global Finance
We were named Best Sub-Custodian Bank in Central and Eastern Europe in Global Finance magazine's 2023 annual awards, while also claiming six country awards for Best Sub-Custodian Bank in Austria, Bulgaria, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Hungary, Serbia, and Slovenia. This is the 14th consecutive year that UniCredit has been recognised with this prestigious award.
Global Finance's 30th Annual Awards
UniCredit also succeeded in Global Finance's 30th Annual Awards for the World's Best Banks with country awards in Bulgaria and in Bosnia and Herzegovina Mostar. In selecting these top banks, the criteria included: growth in assets, profitability, geographic reach, strategic relationships, new business development and innovation in products.
Best Trade Finance Provider 2023
The Best Trade Finance Provider 2023 prize by Global Finance went to UniCredit Bank Bosnia and Herzegovina Mostar and to Zagrebacka Banka in Croatia. The editorial review board of Global Finance selected the best trade finance providers based on entries from banks, as well as input from industry analysts, corporate executives and technology experts.
Euromoney Global Private Banking Awards 2023
Three of our banks in CE&EE were recognised for their outstanding Private Banking. In the annual Global Private Banking Awards 2023 by Euromoney, Schoellerbank became Austria's Best Private Bank - International. Bulgaria's Best Private Bank for High-Net-Worth Individuals was indisputably assigned to UniCredit Bulbank and in Hungary the local bank was named the country's Best Private Bank - International.
Euromoney Trade Finance Survey 2023
UniCredit also became the CEE Market Leader in the Euromoney Trade Finance Survey 2023. Our group picked 22 awards across various categories and geographies, 20 of which went to CE&EE banks. In the "Best Service" rankings, UniCredit retained top global honors for another consecutive year, besides securing success in "Central and Eastern Europe" (CEE) in many countries, and ranked number one in Bulgaria for the first time in the same category.

At the very beginning of 2023 UniCredit was recognised as a Top Employer for our CE&EE banks in Austria, Bulgaria, Hungary and Serbia.
